I’ll probably hold my nose and vote against the democrats if he is the nominee. However, that is likely a wasted effort as I don’t believe he can win. Let’s pray that he is not the nominee!

Voting laws have been changed in a half dozen states since Covid. Unless republicans learn how to ballot harvest in less than two years or unless laws are changed in those states, it doesn’t matter who the Republican candidate is. The democrats have 270 as we speak.

As poorly as republicans did in 2022 and the fact republicans put Romney back in charge of the Republican national committee and all she has done is loose three elections in a row and did nothing regarding changing the laws in the ballot harvesting states it doesn’t look promising

I am very close to reaching the same conclusion @Red Leg. A few months ago I said I hoped for different but would support him if it was him. I am seriously rethinking that. I used to coach HS basketball and one of my mantras was that I would rather lose with dignity than win without. I personally think Trump has skittered over an edge I have no desire to follow. I think he is drunk on his own celebrity, and I am not convinced he's not somewhat mentally unbalanced, just in a very different way than Biden.

I've given up trying to understand all of that. It seems they spend waaay too much time worrying about it. I couldn't really care any less how someone else sees their gender. I have no issues with it either way. What I take issue with is have it shoved onto everyone else.
There has always been males who are more feminine than others and "butch" girls. Who cares? Be who you want to be, as long as it doesn't affect me.

But I'm sorry, there is no way I'm going to be able to start remembering who's a they/them, he, she and all that. If you look like you're plumbed like a guy, you're a "he". If you look like you're plumbed like a girl, you are a 'she'. It's as simple as that. Your decision to announce to the world what you think you are this week does not change what you are. Go ahead and think it, I couldn't care less, just don't expect me to agree.

Plastic surgeons would not exist if everyone was just thrilled with the way they were born. Many want to be taller, thinner, better looking, have hair, yada yada. It's human nature. So go do what you want to do. Just don't tell me to believe you are 6'8" NFL lineman when you are a 5'3" girl with an attitude...and address you as such.

Sorry for the rant. It's just that the world has way more to worry about than anyone's decision whether or not to sit down to pee.

This is bigger than a few people who just want to be addressed by their "appropriate" pronoun. This is being pushed by degenerates, aka pedophiles and sexual deviants, who have a direct line to your kids and insecure adults via their cell phones. Adult gay men and women are being convinced that since they like the same sex they were actually just born in the wrong body. Effeminate men are told they are actually women and less feminine women are told they're men.

Something like 24% of young people are now saying they fall somewhere in the LGBTQIA+-÷/; spectrum. If I was born yesterday I would know that's BS.

Even more disgusting is the amount of adults using it as an attention seeking scheme. The new admissions/developments of the 21 yr old "I am Jazz" victim are proof positive of this. The diabolical brain washing and coaching by that young mans mother that I have recently observed deserve nothing less than the death penalty. It's only one of thousands of similar stories you can find on the internet. Entire groups have been formed for victims of such abuse.

Lia Thomas has been outed as one of these sexual deviants even if ESPN did recently honor him.

How about the doctors who have gone against the "shall do no harm" oath and mutilated children and adults. Leftists call it "gender affirming care" when in reality it's just cutting off young women's breasts, young men's penises and testicles and introducing drugs that leave their bodies unable to physically grow properly and in most cases leaves them unable to orgasm even with their sexual organs intact. Turns out that if a child doesn't go through puberty, sexual climax becomes virtually impossible. Who would have thought?

Our evil politicians have of course jumped on the bandwagon not only to secure votes but because it's one more institution that they can knock down to ensure the fall of the west. Their influence convinces the overly empathetic that they need to go along with the delusion as to be, what else, a proper progressive.

The only bright light is that a number of European countries have recently taken a step back in the so called gender affirming care.

Sorry to rant and not meaning to preach, but it is the truth of the situation and is much worse that just a few people seeking validation. It is downright evil at play.
