[MARTIN PIETERS SAFARIS]

Just retuned from my 4th safari in Matetsi, the area has transformed into a thing of beauty, with flowing rivers and seas of green. matetsi did not disappoint as usual and after 10 great hunting days, we took some fine trophies.
Not only did we have a great hunt, we saw endless amounts of game.

Great trophies! Was it very hot or had the rains brought some relief? Are there any tsetse flues in Matetsi? Somehow I fell for it to be a true lowveld hunt there must be tsetse flies!

Matetsi has no Tse Tse flies, its in north west Zimbabwe about 100 km from Victoria falls. the first 3 hunts were dry and hot, this was wet and humid, but a lot of movement of elephant and buffalo, plus awesome sightings of lion, leopard and loads of plains game.
