Good luck and travel safely!

I received my Hep A, Typhoid and Tetanus shots on Friday. Plus my 2 part COVID shot a few months ago. I am now where viruses go to die!

4 days, any disease that makes it past the vaccinations will have to deal with bourbon. I think we are all set.

You certainly should be virus free. Many times I’ve seen you vaccinate with a fine whiskey!

Good luck on your hunt and lets get together when you return. Shoot straight and take it all in!

Thanks! I took my 2nd of 4 COVID PCR tests today! Surely one of them will come back negative between Monday and when we leave Wednesday morning.

I just got back. Took a great old dagga boy in the Kalahari and a beautiful leopard in Zimbabwe at the Drummond Ranch. I had a total of four Covid tests. Just part international travel today- but we’ll worth it.

Safe travels and happy hunting! looking forward to the hunting report !

Friend Jeff and I took 4 COVID tests each over the weekend to ensure we received at least one within the specified time period from departure. I got 2 back so far. Negative thank goodness. Of course Jeff has received none. So, plan B is for Jeff to take a test here in the Houston airport. They can do a PCR in 40 minutes for $250!!! Ouch. As they say….between good, cheap and fast….you get to pick only two. Good and fast ain’t ever cheap. It’s a beautiful thing that they offer the tests here at the airport.

Guys and gals, these COVID regulations are one more hassle added on top of numerous other hassles that make getting to Africa more frustrating than ever before. It’s a good thing that Safari is the greatest adventure in the world. If not, we’d all stay home.

More to come………

Hope you guys don't have any more issues and that you hunt is everything you were expecting. Keep us posted when you can. Looking forward to the story and photos.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
