ZIMBABWE: Has Anyone Hunted With Brent Hein Safaris?

Did anyone hunted with Brent Hein Safaris? I'm looking to book my first cape buffalo hunt. Thanks in advance.

I only know Brent from the shows, by reputations, and other PH's. I believe him to be a good solid PH and I would hunt with him without hesitation.

Yes, but only because he advertised discounted buffalo hunt on bookyourhunt.com. it's $10,000 for 10 days
I started looking around a little bit for about a month or so, and set my mind on Zimbabwe or Mozambique. I can probably afford one buffalo hunt and I figured that was the way to go.

I've hunted with him, I think 5 times. Pretty much everything. He does his homework and when you get there he will know where the animals are. Mostly BVC but last hunt was in Gauche Gauche Campfire area along Lake Kariba for hippo/croc/etc.

How was buffalo hunting?

I did not hunt with Brent, but He was the 2nd PH in camp on a 15 day DG hunt in Zim in the Save I did with my safari buddy. Brent is a top notch PH, great comedic relief, and works hard to get you the opportunity at what you are hunting for. Thumbs up for sure.

That’s a terrific price for the BVC. A normal buff hunt is $14000 for a 10 day non trophy buff and $16500 for a double non trophy buff. I have not hunted with him but have hunted the BVC and there are a lot of buff

That's awesome. Sometimes it's just too good to be true, but I'm gonna trust Brent. I'm in progress of booking for next June and I'll make sure to make a report from this trip afterwards
