After many trips to Africa I finally got a Leopard on my plate. Found a super deal on a combo Elephant and Leopard in Southern Zim on the Limpopo River. History has shown a number of big tuskers have been taken in this concession as they head North across the river. I plan on carrying my VC 500 NE with CEB solids for the elephant, which has been tried and true in the past. However, this is my first Leopard and I plan on bringing my 300 Win Mag shooting 180 gn Swift Sciroccos.

Any advice on this set up for Leopard?

Your choice for leopard sounds perfect to me.
My other choice was a 180gn Hammer Hunter. Both shoot about the same out of my gun.

You’re all set. Let us know how it goes!

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
