Yet Another Useless Law

I heard about the smelter business a while back, but first I have heard this exactly. I guess it is inevitable. The greenies in this administration and other liberal state administrations are setting the ground work for all types of bans on so-called hazardous things. They have been after lead for years.

They have been after our guns and this is just another way to end hunting and firearms ownership

These made you feel safer already:

1 .Gasoline Dispensing Flow Rate Regulations
The Gasoline and Gasoline Blend Dispensing Flow Rate Regulations prohibit retailers and wholesale purchaser-consumers of benzene-containing gasoline and gasoline blends from using, or offering for use, any nozzle to dispense those fuels into on-road vehicles if the flow rate from the nozzle exceeds 38 litres per minute.

2. Trigger lock removal on gasoline pumps.

The one that amuses me the most is the "NEW AND IMPROVED " gas cans that are supposed to 'recycle' the fumes back into the tank. The fumes escape anyway and the cans won't pour w/o a vent. The ones that they added to the pour spout don't work worth beans.

But it gives some eco nut some where some how a warm fuzzy feeling!

I want that putz to come and fill my gas tank when its forty below and see if he keeps that warm fuzzy feeling. :doh2:

Try filling a snowmachine with precious gas when you're 40 miles from any other source and it's 40 below. It seems like it takes twice as long.

It does! ... and I have no need to time it for proof.

mike and wayne i know how you feel.....when its 35c and i have to make the effort to get out of my vehicle just to unlock the fuel cap, and then stand or sit and wait while i have my vehicle filled for me....it sucks :p:biggrin2:

I absolutely hate those gas cans!!!!

I have about 14 of the old style 5 gallon red plastic gas cans and will not part from them. Friends want me to give them one or two but when I go hunting for several weeks I use them all. My pick-up/trailer generator use up the fuel.
I had to use one of the newer ones......once. I will keep my old cans.
Bullet lead usually comes from recycled sources. Then we import it also. Just sad that the tree huggers can make it so bad for the company to close.

I read a letter that Sierra bullets sent out that pretty much said, calm down. At least for Sierra its not a problem, they have lots of lead and access to lots more and are not concerned. Hope they are right.

I love the lead bullets, they get the job done cheaply. Plus its a lot easier to clean out of the barrel.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
