Would you like a Cigar?

If you seen my posts, I’m a huge fan of Padron 1964 Aniversarios, they may be the perfect cigar to celebrate the hunt. They are not cheap, but they are delicious.

I would go with an Oliva Melanio Maduro, or Oliva Black Swan. Fantastic smokes and they will not break the bank like Padron. :ROFLMAO:

Leaving in77 days for Zim.

Calling on all cigar lovers to give me their top two suggestions to take for a 26 day safari. I need to get an order placed to get them in shape in my humidor before I have to leave.

I prefer medium-heavy cigars in a torpedo or corona.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated and I will remember the suggestions in pictures back here in this thread.
Arcadia Thunder Smoke
Drew Estate’s Kentucky Fire Cure MUWAT

I'm not fussy, I would LOVE a Cohiba right now.

You boys have been busy!

Alec Bradley Chunk is a definite go to in my books! Short, fat and will knock you flat!
Karen Berger Half Time (gets sold under a different name by us)

Had a Don Kiki Brown label with @Frederik the other day that was an absolute creamy sensation.

And then we also had a La Aurora Guillermo Leon, what an epic smoke! La Aurora puts out some great ones!

DWB where do you buy your cigars in South Africa? Which shop would you suggest I try?

I buy via Warren from Cigarclub.co.za
He is a private cigar purveyor.

Will DM you his number.

LFD Double Ligero
Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo

Those two never disappoint

Arturo Fuente Queen B torpedo is my go to. I order them by the box from JR Cigar.

Final cut. These are the 30 that are going with me.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. Very nice select mix for me to choose from.

I get 20% off from TC with my club membership and cashing in old points from over the years, so I was able to justify some big ticket babies I’d otherwise not buy. Especially excited about the LFD’s! I’ve not had one in years!

That La Aurora Guillermo Leon was a gem. Need to find some more and the money to fund it :E Happy:

Like you said the Chunk is a good one but one has to beware after having a gentle/milder smoke the Chunk gets your attention if you don't treat it right and try to smoke too fast.

Drew State Undercrowns full size cigars are great smokes.

Not to rain on your posts, but when my mom died in my arms of lung cancer from smoking and my favorite died in front of her sons at at 54 from lung cancer, I cannot for the life of me understand or comprehend why anyone for any reason would intentional poison themselves with smoking. Makes no sense as it just prolonged and agonizing suicide.

Apologies for the instrusion here but smoking reaps death. No other way to say it.

I’m sorry for your loss and sorry you had to endure the pain of watching your mother suffer. Truly.

My Father Blue's have become my recent favorite. The cedar tones are just lovely.
I agree Phil. I tried one at my local cigar lounge and fell in love with it. Promptly bought two boxes there as the online site I use is sold out and they were that good!
