I think the serial number is G331xxx. I don't have data for that recent of a M70 but I'd guess it as early 2000s.

Serial numbers starting with G followed by six digits were manufactured between 1994-2002 is what I have been told, but I'm certainly not an expert.

6 digits from 94-02 is consistent with my info: Three friends have ones as follows: 19xxx 1991; 23xxx 1993; 166xxx 1996. If someone knows of one made in 2000 or 2002 we could plot a graph and make an educated guess as to the year.
