$250 shipped CONUS when funds clear from check or USPS MO. Insurance is your cost - I will add it as instructed by you.

Nope, just the action was made available for purchase to me. I had never considered this future need, but I bet they will be spaced at a "common/standard" distance. If you would like, I can put calipers on the holes for you.

Any chance it is a P14? Can you post a picture from the underside?

Safety appears to be missing. Not a big deal as they are available from many sources. I also see mag boxes and trigger guard up on ebay frequently. But I'm wondering if it's had a cock on opening modification? That would make it slightly more sellable. Someone did a nice job cleaning off the rear sight ears and plugging the hole. That's always the biggest obstacle to building on 1917/P14. This is a great ultra-strong project action at a good price. Good to see the barrel removed. They can be a real SOB to pull off.

The safety and other parts missing are not a big deal at all. What may be a bigger deal is that it appears to be altered and contoured where the safety goes, so that a builder may not be able to use a 1917 safety, would require a different safety such as a 70 style on bolt.

Sorry guys - been in the deer stand for 4 hours...

I am gonna call it as converted to cock on opening as it requires some effort to open the bolt. Without the trigger and bottom metal it is hard for me to be certain.

Outside to outside hole distance on the front base holes measures .611, inside to inside measures .380", .231" screw hole

O to O distance on the back screw holes measures .710", I to I is .489" - .221" screw hole

I used calipers, not a gauge.

Thanks greatly! I'm leaving for the holidays so won't be around until 8 December. If that works I'll be appreciative. Address is Mason Reid, 1504 Driftwood Drive, Bozeman, MT 59715.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
