Namibia’s Swakop River seldom reaches the Atlantic. It did so for the first time in many years just recently. Dams across the country are opening their sluice gates due to this year’s historic rainfall. What a difference a year makes! Here’s drone footage of the Swakop River flowing into the Atlantic.

When I saw your post, I thought it said "From the River to the Sea". I first thought it was about Palestinian political strife in the Middle East, lol.

I am suddenly overwhelmed with the need to drag trolling lures slightly seaward of the muddy waters...

It took no time for the enterprising folks to start fishing near the outlet. Strong minds think alike!

Glad to see that they are finally getting substantial rain. They needed it.

All you need to do is shoot a leopard early and we will fish this river.

Sir, I will gladly take that 16 gauge off your hands. I was waiting for your Winchesters but I'm a sucker for a 16 ga.
