What new Ruger would you like to see in a limited special run?

Ruger #1 in 404J and 30-30 win. I'd be in for both of them. The 30-30 in the International.

Paul

Ruger #1 in 450 Nitro Express, 26 inch barrel, heavy profile, fixed shallow V rear sight and mercury recoil reducer in the stock. It should weigh 9.5 to 10# to tame some recoil that is fierce in the big caliber #1s.

Ruger 77 Hawkeye African in 458 Win Mag, 23 inch barrel fixed shallow V rear sight,
double recoil lugs Devcon bedded, recoil reducer in stock, 1 inch recoil pad, weigh at least 8.75 pounds.

One of the reasons for posting this question in the first place was just to see what other hunters would want if they could request something special. I don’t know anyone who shoots a 338-06 AI so that’s an interesting response to consider since I’m unfamiliar with the round.
Its a great round, like I said 338WM type performance if you reload with less powder, recoil, muzzle blast. I've become obsessed with a few of the 30-06 based cartridges. Also the 280 AI and 35 Wheelen, those two have larger followings and there are factory ammo and rifles available.

I’ll play the game.

I’d take a right hand Ruger M77 african in .275/7x57. Preferably with a bit higher grade of wood over the standard grade usually used on M77s. I actually really like the M77 II with the three position wing safety. I’m in the middle of refinishing the stock on my .300 win mag after years of abuse.

I’d like a no 3 in 303 British I’ve got a pretty good set of mits on me and always found the no 1 to feel tight around my hands. I’m sure I couldn’t find another 49 people to agree though.

In order of interest:
M77 African
7x57/275 Rigby. I would buy three if it helped get them made.
.318 Westley Richards. I would again buy three.
7x64. I would buy two.
9.3x64 I would buy two.
8x68s. I would buy two.
338-06. I would buy two.
.25-06
7.5x55 Swiss

I’m not particularly interested in a number one myself.
Edited to add: on these I would be willing to put money where my mouth is. Randy’s is a trusted enough place I would be willing to prepay him to get it all going.

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
Finally back to somewhat normal I missed reading the messages and posts

Hi PaulB,
I have a Ballard Arms Model 1885 chambered for .333 Jeffery Flanged. Do you have any idea where I can get ammo for this?

I am new to this forum so I am sorry if I am doing something wrong!
Thank You!
