Dangerous Game riflescope for my .450 build

I have a couple R2s and like them a good bit.

But I was really asking for opinions and experience on using the 1,7-13,3 for DG use...
I have three Meopta's in 1.7-10x42mm - I love them, killed a lion with one. I think they make a lot of sense on a .375 because the high end of the power range can be useful on such a gun, not so much on a larger caliber.

Got a call and email today from Jay Jarrett about my CZ .450 Rigby build and we discussed a few more options including optics. He favors the Swaro 8I, but would build on whatever makes me the buyer happy. My first inclination is to go with a Leupold product, because that's what I have on my CZ .375, and every other rifle I own. Are there other brands that would be suitable for a rifle like this that I haven't thought of? I'm looking for a 1-6x, widest field of view possible, lighted reticle with no clutter, and of course long eye relief. This rifle is not meant to be a long range proposition, rather, dealing with extra large bovines that have a slightly diminished sense of humor will be job 1.

What brands and models should a guy be looking at? Night Force, Schmidt & Bender?

Swaro 1-6x24 EE or 1-8x24 is ideal. The EE would be a *really* good idea but you're going to pay $2500ish for a non-illuminated EE and around $5000 for an illuminated. Rare to unobtainable.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
