What I've learned about Zimbabwe Air Travel With Guns

Been there twice, no real need to go there again. Nothing there that I cant get somewhere else with less hassle.

In Zim's defense, the whites, and the rural matabele and shona are really great people. It's the bureaucracy that is nothing short of bizarre and the root cause of all frustration. No government attempt is made to be friendly to business, tourism or the local people.

I suspect (but not positive) that the Zimbabwean PH has the hardest PH job in Africa. They get involved in so much bureaucracy, logistics and fees all for the privilege to work with clients in the bush and be taxed.

It seems that the entire nation has a very hard life right now.

Don't get me wrong, I'm thoroughly annoyed by the process of going to Zim but I do love BEING IN Zim.

Lufthansa, Air France, British Air and all the other EU members have a present sanction against bringing firearms into Zimbabwe so there is a no-go there.
its no problem to check out in Joburg and check in to Zimb.

Thanks greatly! I'm leaving for the holidays so won't be around until 8 December. If that works I'll be appreciative. Address is Mason Reid, 1504 Driftwood Drive, Bozeman, MT 59715.

Sir, I think I have been writing to you about the purchase of the HK 639 rifle under an email "Tt Jake." If this is you, then I am truly interested. I am just trying to verify identify. Tt Jake is asking for a cash transaction. No disrespect intended, Just trying to verify who I am talking to. Thank you. Respectfully. Dan

Hey my friend, I am returning to SA for a Cape Buffalo hunt in June 26. My outfitter has suggested Highveld but I have read some poor reports. Wondering how satisfied you were with your mounts from them? Thanks in advance.
