I was fixed on Turkey Guns of the 90's. The BPS, AA SxS 10, The SP-10, Ithaca. Later the Gold's, etc. I had an H&R 10 traded for an American Arms single shot 10 .. eventually gave away.

Anyway, found this:

@Daniel Cary - I know you have a love of SxS's and that's not a bad thing, but I would discourage you from this particular purchase for a few reasons.

1. The barrels have been cut. Meaning whatever choke it did have from the factory is now gone. You are left with a portion of the forcing cone as a choke and it's very unlikely to pattern well at 40 yards with any turkey load. So now what? Have whats left of the barrels threaded for screw in chokes?

2. Cutting down the barrels may be the least of your of your concern. The overall condition of the firearm is mediocre at best. Picture 2 shows the action closed but there is still a gap at the top of the action. 3.5" turkey shells generate some real power and I wouldn't want to see this thing pop open when touching one off.

3. A modern 12 bore with 3.5" chambers will send the same payload as this shotgun with better patterns, removable chokes, better fit and finish and this is without being shade-tree modified.

I'm normally in the camp of making a recommendation to someone to buy another firearm, not pass on one. What I'm saying is there are better choices, even for $600. This one is on auction at GB and currently sits just over $300. GB Beretta A300 Xtreme 3.5"

Wouldn’t touch that linked 10 if it were free.

Beretta Silver Hawk would be my rec. for a semi-modern 10ga. double. Not steel/tungsten shot compatible, though. And check those ribs before laying down any money.

agh! .. I didn't even look. 21", no chokes. I honestly can't make many decisions on anything.
However, it must have been some stuck fixation, seeing these at guns shows long ago. They certainly stuck out. I was at a shop, he had an AA O/U Turkey 12. but "Is this purchase really necessary"

Things have come so far .. If I was really atonement in waterfowl, you'd be the 1st I'd ask!

I appreciate the confidence you have in me. Feel free to reach out at any time.

Cheers.
