Kind of a long shot but I’m interested to see what’s out there in regards to a nice piece of wood for a pre 64 model 70.
looking for more of a slimmed down stalking rifle/English style stock. 14“ LOP.
shoot me a pm of what you have.
thank you

Are you looking for a wood blank or something that has been machined?

I have a mate here in Oz that’s also a member on this site, @HRS. Has a ripper lightweight English stalker pattern, good walnut and ships everywhere.

Thought about them but I’ve heard so many horror stories about them.

Try this guy. Im talking with him at present. You will need to find someone todo the checkering. But looks like a nice option which I’ll be using in the future.

No @Ivorygrip I brought the rifle at Holts then chucked the old stock and barrel. New barrel. Jewelled the bolt. Then brought the blank had a stocker do the barrel fit, shape, horn, I did the the checking and finishing.
My next one I’ll get him to also do the checking. As I want rap around. I’m not that good at it.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
