prefer heavier 156 to 175 gr loading

Thanks

No idea who is loading for that. S&B had a 175gr Nosler partition but sold out 4 years ago.

there was a 156gr oryx load in Europe that may be available in the US for a pricey amoun.

RWS 7 x 57 ID Classic 10,5g ( 162gr )
Brenneke 7 x 57 TIG ( Torpeda Ideal Geschoes ) 11,5g ( 177gr )

Federal has 175 grain round nose soft point available on their website.

If your rifle shoots the middle weight 7x57 bullets well, the Norma Oryx 156 gr offering is hard to beat.

They are loaded to European specs so you you don’t get watered down performance.

The Oryx is a good bonded bullet and they shoot accurately out of my rifles and those of my mates who also use the ammunition!

Thanks to all for your replies
I was able to get 9 boxes of Federal
175 gr factory loads.

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
