Here is a nice entry level W. Richards (NOT Westley Richards) 12 GA
Nice 30 in barrels, 14 1/4 LOP to front trigger. Dolls head 3 fastener.

Doesn't fit me even close and my wife isn't interested in a 12ga So it should go to someone that will appreciate it

Accept personal checks or postal money orders.

$1800 shipped from my FFL to your FFL

I don't have the gauges to measure the chokes but looking at them I think they are Improved cylinder and Modified. 2 1/2 chambers. will have to take some pictures of the proof marks. will get them up tonight or tomorrow.

Chokes may be marked on the undersurface of the barrel with the proof stamps, if lucky.

Looks like a nice solid Birmingham gun. GLWS

W. Richards were made in Belgium I believe.

The proof marks for Liege should be on the flats if this is the case. The British proof marks will be there also.

here is a couple pics with proof marks.

William Richards of Liverpool was a known maker and made very good quality firearms. The highest quality best hammergun I've ever owned was made by W. Richards of Liverpool.

W. Richards marked guns with Belgian proofmarks are the biggest piles of trash ever sold to the American market. People describe them accurately as "Tomato stakes" from the day they were new. The Belgian guns were forgeries from the start, with the use of a fictitious W. Richards intending to confuse and deceive the buyer.

The OP's gun is a British made William Richards of Liverpool.

And a pretty old gun with original barrels. The left barrel is marked choke so it may have been in the colonies at some stage where a shotgun carried ball in one barrel and shot in the other. 11/4 ounces is a hefty load also.

Weekend bump and price drop to $1600 delivered to your ffl.
