Is there any "varmint hunting" in Africa? Here in the US it is a whale of a time taking a .22 or .243 & shooting prairie dogs. Just wondering if there was something over there where a person could burn up 100+ rounds a day eradicating pests.

HI

Hi,

Basically at our place any stray wild cat or dog is shot on site because they carry diseases and they catch a lot of our game. We dont have a huge problem where we would need to use up 100 shells hehehe thanks goodness.

All the other pests are taken by our hunters like jackal, caracal, wild cats and so on ..

hope this answers ur question.

Regards,

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
