Good day to you all,

We would like to create the opportunity to hunt one of the gems found in the Eastern Cape, the Vaal Rhebok.

The Vaal Rhebok, or more commonly known as the Vaalie, is a unique animal found in small pockets of South Africa, with good populations in regions of the EC. Being a mono-specie, there really is nothing like it.

The package we are offering is as follows:

•7 day hunt
•2x1 (2 hunters)
•$2450 p/hunter.

This hunt allows guests to witness the beauty of the Great Winterberg mountains, where we will be pursuing our Vaalies. Each hunter will get the opportunity to hunt a trophy ram.

Given the terrain these creatures inhabit, personal fitness is definitely something to consider. This is the perfect graduation gift for a young and fit hunter, or for a more experienced hunter who is looking for something a little different.

This package is all inclusive, except for:
• International + Domestic flights
• Taxidermy + export fees
• Additional travel costs
• Rifle hire + ammunition
• Additional days + animals taken/wounded

Hunters are more than welcome to add days and/or additional species to what is included in the above package.

Good day, I believe the following details will cover most if not all questions about this offer:

7 day hunt, 2 hunters, hunting 2x1, each paying $2450. I’d be happy to offer this hunt as a 1x1 hunt for 2 people, at an additional $1500 to be split by both hunters (ie $750 each).

This hunt can be taken in 2027 and 2028.

This hunt takes place in the Great Winterberg mountains in the Eastern Cape, which gets snowfall most winters, and has an elevation of roughly 7500ft. It’s not easy terrain, so personal fitness and shooting ability is something to keep in mind!

There are good populations of Mountain Reedbuck and Cape Bushbuck in the same hunting area, which can also be added to a hunters wish list. Our main hunting area in the Mankazana Valley is a 30min drive from the Winterberg, which holds over 30 additional species in much fairer terrain.

Good day, yes, anywhere between 200-350 is a good estimate for shots. We have made it work at much closer before though.

I will attach a few photos of our Bushbuck below this reply. Blue Duiker we have on a few coastal concessions roughly 2,5hr drive from the main hunting camp. Mostly hunted in thick forest out of a blind.

Hello. That first picture with a bow really spiked my interest. We were in that area last month and my wife got a nice Vallie and Mtn reedbuck. It is amazing how beautiful it is there and how big! I think the guy said if you loose your dog you can still see him for 2 days.. Could you tell us a bit about that bow hunt? I heard of one bow hunt that they used a decoy, but what a dream being able to get one with a bow. Would love to hear the story on how that bowhunt went..
