Underwear for safari?

Yes, will keep it on outerwear only.

@ Philip Glass: Where do you get the merino briefs? I have googled but no luck so far... not modern enough I suppose...

Icebreaker Merino products are really good. I have several things from them and all are soft and very long lasting so they have good value. On mountain hunting trips I learned the value of wool and how it is so insulating and does not smell after days and days of use. People won't believe that you can wear the same socks for several days and they don't stink! There are also some socks that I like from SmartWool but not underwear. No one has underwear like Icebreaker Merino thats for certain!
Regards,
Philip
PS People here like to make fun of me for touting my Merino wool socks and underwear when I raise Dorper Sheep that do not have any wool!

I second what you say about Icebreaker. As for the Dorpers and wearing merino:LOL: from a bloke brought up on a merino farm:D

I really like wool too! I hunt here in Norway, and various places in Europe and Bew Zealand, and use merino wool exclusively. Have tried polypropylen a couple of times, but I get really cold... spoiled on wool.... impossible not to get wet when hunting in NZ, and wool keeps one dry. Also Great to keep the stink at bay. Need to pack less for a lighter pack

Icebreaker stuff is amazing!

I didn't see your request re: ship co’s. My last shipment was 2023. Quotes from SBS Logistics ($1,198), Badger Cargo ($1,184 - used them) & AHG Trophy Shippers ($1,746). AHG owner's an asshole so wouldn't have used him anyway. Eastern Cape - Houston, TX, so your mileage may vary. NEVER use Karl Human Taxidermy aka Wild Africa Taxidermy on Eastern Cape. Trophies arrived shattered with no padding/packing material.
