has anyone done a day trip to hwange from livingstone? is it safe is it worth it? my parents visited hwange when they were in zim in the 90's
and it is something I would like to include in our next trip just not sure

Hwange is doable from Livingtone, so is the Old Vic hotel which I highly recommend. Definitely have a local PH guide or spouse with you in Vic. With tourists comes petty crime but they don’t mess with a local that is walking you around.

My daughter just returned from staying a month at Debbie Gracy’s house in VF. She was working on some project involving Wills Wells. I think they are planning on packaging tours that will benefit Wills Wells. I will inquire when I get back home.
