Toronto chef butchers, eats deer leg in front of animal rights protesters outside his restaurant

Mike, this is all you need to know about kale. :D

I wonder how far it is from Minneapolis to Toronto

I just got a FB link that showed the video from the Guardian.
It had nearly 11,000,000 views and growing.

I shared the website. I hope it builds his business.

Another positive thing chek out the poll in the middle of this article https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/20...-response-to-animal-rights-demonstration.html

over 8000 people voted and more than 90% supported him. Sure there may be some issues if the sample is truly random, but id imagine it is fairly so- I cant think of why there might be a huge bias in this sample, these results seem to indicate that a clear majority of the general public is supportive of him...

Whether they find the ignorant tactics annoying or like Venison, I don't care.
Glad the guys small business is getting support.

This is still blowing up on facebook a week later here in Canada. It is good to see that this protest has had the opposite effect on his business that the bean eaters had wanted. Polls done by Toronto's newspapers indicate a 90% support for the restaurant owner. They also report huge increase in reservations at the Antler!

I love it when it backfires on them, i'll be by next time i am passing through.

Pheroze, too bad we didn't know about that restaurant a couple of weeks ago:)

Hey buddy, there is always next time!

Good for him! Too bad the leg was not bloody. LOL!!!!!

FYI if you want to make a reservation for The Antler you may have to wait a while as apparently he is booked solid for about 3 months. These snowflakes who are protesting are giving the owner so much recognition that reasonable people have gone out of their way to support him. Isn't it funny how KARMA sometimes will rear up and bite you in the ASS!

The biggest complaint of the guy who was holding the camera seemed to be that the owner was "taunting the activists." It seems that it's perfectly acceptable to try to destroy an honest businessman's business, but to taunt an activist? Now that's a step too far.

Couldn’t have said it better.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
