I have a barrel that was made by CP Donnelly, chambered to 300 Weatherby and fitted to an FN Weatherby action. Sometime after the job was completed the owner needed to return the rifle to original configuration, so the Donnelly barrel was removed and the original barrel replaced. So I have the barrel in pristine condition and need the remainder of the rifle. I've been looking around for a Whitworth Mark X or similar rifle, chambered in 375 H&H, so that it would be a simple barrel swap. But I'm wondering if there are other actions that the barrel would fit to without extensive machining- by that I mean cutting off the shank and cutting a new shank and threads, requiring cutting a new chamber. I see a lot of large ring 98 Mauser actions available, but they are standard length and would require opening the action and new bottom metal, which is also more involved than I am trying to go. I see that Remington 700 actins are sufficiently long, but have no idea if the thread are compatible or could be made compatible. Any information on how I can get this barrel back into firing order would be greatly appreciated.

Remington threads are not compatible.

Best is to find a FN or similar 98 action.

Depends on how much money you want to spend.

I have a Whitworth Mark X rifle in 375 H&H that may be available. Also a Mark X in 300 Win Mag.

Might have a Mark X action, have to check the vault, might have sold it.

Where are you in WA? I am in Port Angeles.

I even have a set of 300 Weatherby reamers.

Old Mausers are not bad, they just need some work.

Can you get Zastava actions/rifles? Nothing but FN mausers made in a different plant. Most of the machinery is actually the ones from FN.

I am curious, what makes it worth keeping this barrel?

CP Donnelly equals Nostalgia!

Below is the Mark X I have, per our PM's Ray B has first dibs. New old stock, never had a barrel installed.

The butter knife handle action has been sold.

I also have two of the original Montana M99 actions available. Magnum bolt face. Not drilled and tapped per my instructions to MRC and the serial numbers and other markings are below the stock line, leaving the receiver ring and rear bridge free space for engraving. They were intended for big bore dedicated iron sight rifles, 458 Lott fits perfectly.

404 Jeffery on the top action, 458 Lott on the bottom.

Are you selling the MRC Actions?

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
