Your are not kidding with all the combos of stain let alone add some hide to the mix. I was even thinking of painting all the lines I cut in black to add some break up of the solid look of just stain.

That would be very cool. I pm'd you btw.

I thought of you guys while in the Mozambique Natural History Museum and took some pictures of shields they had there as an option for your designs.
