Great animals! The carving on the wildebeest is impressive.
The engraving looks like it was done with a CNC, very precise. I've reached out to 2 taxidermists, one in metro Denver, and the other in Rhinebeck, NY to see if they know of a US taxidermist who does that type of work. Does anyone on this forum know? My wife thought I should do my blue wildebeest as well.
The one thing I didn’t have in the crate was any paperwork. No SCI scoresheets nor anything elseMy crate just arrived, where you able to find your sci scores sheets that were included?
I think that engraving looks like it was done by hand, not by CNC.
I do know of a very good engraver in the US. I was thinking about making a post about him but I didn't want it to come off as an advertisement, schilling for, or to go against the forum rules since I am sure he isn't a sponsor here.
Edit to add: His style of engraving is typically not all the way through the bone like that, but more like "embossed" and "debossed" look.
