I am a member of another forum and on that forum we have a place for swapping hunts. What it basically is is someone invites you to hunt with them in their state be it public or private (this information should be shared) and in return you take them out. While there are no guarantees in hunting people should be honest about the expectations of the hunt. As long as everyone is honest they turn out fantastic and it's a cheap way to have a good chance at success hunting somewhere else.

I don't know if this interest anyone on here or not but I would be I retested in taking a person out for an Alaskan moose hunt. If that interest you pm me with what you normally hunt and let's see if we can strike a deal.

If you are interested in this just reply below and let's see if we can get some swaps started on this forum.

What a great offer sir! I couldn't offer anything like that! I do belong to a deer club in Arkansas but the deer are small.

My club is on timber lease land down around Monticello so most of the bucks are small. It's fun but seeing a monster trophy buck doesn't happen very often.

If only it were legal where I live.

What do you mean by that?

In my jurisdiction it is completely illegal to accept any type of remuneration or trade for a hunt unless you are an Outfitter.

A new twist of 50 shades or gray around here.

Ringneck pheasants and Walleye's here in South Dakota.

Nice idea, wish I could offer you something in NC, but only WT and I don't have any of my own land or hunt club land to offer. Really nice offer however!

Great idea my friend. I can do a chipmunk hunt here in Pa for a moose in Alaska. I may need to think something up though to see if it could be worked out. Maybe the only way I could ever get a chance at a moose.

It's a way for people to get to do it and not have to pay 10k plus for a guide.

Hmmmm...

I've got a bit of property in Southern Colorado that gets a lot of mule deer activity and a few elk passing through during 2nd and 3rd season... and we're less than an hours drive from some pretty huge/popular public land that's very popular for elk..

And Colorado has over the counter elk tags...

I wouldn't mind trading out with someone that has access to whitetail in north, central, or east Texas...

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
