Why doesn’t CZ make the 550 American Safari Magnum with a barrel band sling stud, 3 position safety and a single stage standard trigger?
They would sell millions!

I just hope I live long enough to see one of each in my safe.
AND, proper stock bedding from the factory for a heavy recoil rifle. I would pay extra for these items. If they did these things as a matter of mass produced rifle manufacturing, the cost would be reasonable. But then you wouldn’t have to send your rifle to AHR or somewhere else and pay half to twice (or) more than what you paid for your rifle for the upgrades! I’m sure the aftermarket upgrades are great, but at what cost? Will one be able to recoup even some of the cost when eventually selling that rifle? I guess I’m just a cheap b••••••!Why doesn’t CZ make the 550 American Safari Magnum with a barrel band sling stud, 3 position safety and a single stage standard trigger?

I believe the reason is that building a double square bridge receiver for a M70 would raise the cost of the rifle to around $4000 or more depending on the caliber. Any one that disagrees, please chime in.Why Hasn’t Winchester ever made a model 70 with a double square bridge receiver? I know it would cost more but I would pay it, just like cz buyers would pay a little more for the above upgrades on a factory rifle
Then how is CZ doing it for less than $1500 in DG calibers holding 4 and 5 in the magazine?I believe the reason is that building a double square bridge receiver for a M70 would raise the cost of the rifle to around $4000 or more depending on the caliber. Any one that disagrees, please chime in.
Since you opened up stupid CZ questions, I have another stupid (I have plenty) question. I'm looking at some CZ .458 WM and .458 Lott rifles for sale (specifically on Cabelas Gun Vault). They have NO crossbolts. Are they older models or what? Most of the CZs in .416 Rigby I've seen either have one or no crossbolts? I thought the purpose of the crossbolts was to provide strength and rigidity to the stock/action? Maybe someone here could explain this? Thank you!Why doesn’t CZ make the 550 American Safari Magnum with a barrel band sling stud, 3 position safety and a single stage standard trigger?
