Some Model 70 issues

The recent model 70’s rear trigger screw will not go through action it has a stop.
The front action screw on all model 70’s has always been a complete pass through screw hole where the bolt lug can hit a protruding action screw .
Ran into this problem with a pre 64 super grade 300H&H I have owned for over 30 years
Stock shrank and bolt did protrude into locking lug race barley , all of a sudden my 300 went from sub moa to 6 inch moa
easy fix pillar bedded and shortened screw, free floated barrel .
I would have done this years ago but the rifle was a shooter with out touching anything I really wanted to keep it as it left the factory but some times it is better to fix problem and use as intended

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!

Who's this C. W. Richter? Seems to have a chip on his shoulder.
