I bought a pile of Sitka and Kuiu clothing from the AH classifieds a few weeks ago. To outfit my Son In Law.
He has pawed through and has taken what he liked. And I am releasing the rest back into the wild.

Both pants and mid weight shirt are like new.

Pants 36 waist 32-33 long $75 each

Shirt is XLG $30

Sitka Ranger style Belt $30

If you take it all $180

plus there’s more ! :p If you buy it all you get a long sleeve Sitka base layer t shirt

Darn good deal....

How do you like the Sitka mid weight stuff?

Sitka and then Kuiu took their inspiration from European mountaineering clothing. Using high tech costly materials. Small creature comforts and practical use improvements in garments.

mountaineering clothing had to be lightweight, wick sweat, and dry quickly and not stink after wearing it for a week or month straight.

Years later, a lot of companies have come along for the ride and use better materials and ergonomics.

For instance, after wearing pants for a couple days or a week, the crotch isn’t down past your knees and the cuffs dragging under your boots. they hold their shape, wick, dry quickly, don’t stink and or lightweight

Is it worth it or necessary? Maybe not if you’re hunting from a pick up or a house or cabin where you can change your clothes every day.

Where it excels is, you can only carry so much on your back or a horse.

I've been to the dark side of clothing....to me, it's worth it.

Hahaha...That's my wife "Punkin's" second nickname!

Hi Dr. Ray, I will be in Cooktown from Oct 16 to Oct 23 fishing Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament.

I have several "slack" days after fishing before I head for stay in Sydney and Fiji.

Do you have any recommendations for 1 or 2 day hunt near Cooktown?

I've hunted both DG and PG in 4 different countries in Africa.
Thank you,
Bob

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
