This is my favorit bullet in a 9,5x57 Mannlicher-Schoenauer, aka. .375 Rimless NE.

Smooth repeating, accurate, works fine from reh to moose in europe without untolerable meet damage.

Not always an exit hole on pigs, but good shot placement makes a bloot trail like you have hit the fire hydrant.

Foxi, I’d like to hear about this as well. I currently use 250 Barnes TTSX, but would consider using the Sierra 250 on lighter game.

The Sierra 250 gr .375 is my choice for the H&H for using the 375 for elk. I like the Bitterroot Bonded Core for heavy construction but find for actual performance at H&H velocities the Sierra gives great results. A aide benefit is that I find they shoot to the same POI as the 250 gr BBCs. So I can use them for practice as well as soft skinned game. I don't have any pictures of expanded ones, but I keep trying to find them, but it takes a pretty thick animal to stop one on a broadside shot, which I the only ones I take anymore.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
