Seeking For Elephant Hide

I recieved a email yesterday form our association ZPHGA , it's just a bit of useful info if anyone is hunting Trophy Elephant in Zimbabwe and not using all the raw hide.

Safvest seeking Elephant Hide
I represent a company called Safvest and we are trying to secure volumes of Raw elephant hide for export. We are fully licenced and hold a valid Trophy Dealers Licence.

We are paying above market rates for raw elephant hide panels being $4/kg.

I believe this will benefit all operators who have been impacted by the US Ban.

Wow that's a lot of money I think fir a hide. Wouldn't one weigh in at about 1000 pounds

1000 pounds of elephant hide would fetch you around $1818 at that price. seems like it wouldnt be a bad way to help with the cost of an elephant hunt. (no idea how much hide you get from an average elephant hunt.)

the difference btwn wet and dry weightwise probably means it would b dry
