first-time safari seminar

If you attend the 2010 SCI convention, you may want to reserve Thursday morning from 10 to noon for attending the "Your First African Safari" seminar.

It will be the 21st year that I have moderated it, and with up to 200 people attending each year, it is SCI's longest-running and most popular seminar.

I'm only the moderator. The experts are Johan Calitz (outfitter talking about what outfitters and PHs expect of their clients), Craig Boddington (arms and ammo for Africa), Jack Atcheson (retired taxidermist talking about what to do to be certain your hides and horns produce the best mounts), Beverly Wunderlich (booking agent, talking about the nuts and bolts of travel and safari), and Ludo Wurfbain (publisher of Sports Afield and Safari Press, talking about what to read before, during and after your safari).

Hope to see you there.

Bill, Thanks for informing everyone of "Your First African Safari" seminar at the SCI, I am glad that you brought it up. I have heard from many hunters over the years that it is a truly an exceptional presentation and well worth attending.

If you or any AH member attend, stay long enough to say hello after the seminar.

I went to SCI last year but didn't arrive in time for the seminar by Bill. I think i will try to make it earlier this year.

Please do, and please say hello afterward.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
