Savage 9.3x62

@AZDAVE
A very pretty rifle in a good caliber. I'd had my gunsmith do the barrel of my savage Whelen the same as yours plus true up the recoil lug. Mine was on a Stevens 200 that's just a budget savage 110 but I will keep mine it's my go to guns for everything.

Bob,
Another FINE looking rifle and I'm sure reasonably priced that you've built/customized! I use the same buttstock cartridge holder on my rifles. I'd prefer leather, but the nylon ones are much less expensive and impervious to wet/freezing weather.

This rifle never sold but I gave it to my brother a couple years ago and he is really enjoying it. Now I just need him to commit to a safari.

The savages are a nice way to build a budget rifle that shoot well and doesn't break the budget.

I can't believe no one here bought it for that price! I just had built on a Savage a .338-06 A-Square with McGowan Barrel and Bell and Carlson Medalist stock and I'm into it for way more than that.

Do you mind me asking what auction you are referencing? I'm not in the market for any of those rifles...just curious.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer
Gents, if you book and pay your deposit before the end of this year , you can have the bigger cull package for the 2026 price! https://www.africahunting.com/threa...griffiths-safaris-starting-at-us-2-560.96285/
