Members, as it is normally , a rifle owner when getting his hands on a rifle he always go and search for information in regards to the rifle .
I researched this SAKO .300 WM Full Stock `s model on different web pages and was able to get replies from owners of similar rifles. I was recently contact via FACEBOOK in regards to this rifle by a woman who informed me that her late Father was the first owner of this great shooting rifle .Immediately all the boxes are ticked in regards to the criteria when I want to acquire a rifle ( never a new rifle) .
The rifle owner`s daughter trace the rifle back to me through google .What a great story and photo of her Dad...this is what makes rifles such great special items.

''''''Spoke about my dad’s .300 Sako this morning and thought I might look on google to see if it was sold. Through google lens I found it. The Sako you bought was my father’s, only two of them imported at the time he bought it. I identified it through the sling, and carrier bag and back of the cleaning rod in the picture you posted on Africa Hunting. My father unfortunately passed away from early onset Alzheimers in 2019. I have so many good memories of cleaning it with him on Sunday nights. With it he shot a Roland Ward Waterbuck. I really hope you make many happy memories with it and if you ever want to sell it I would be so appreciative if you can let me know.""""""

Lovely Sako and story Gert! I love a Stutzen because they handle nicely and all I've had were accurate.

Very cool story for a very cool rifle. I am fortunate enough to have inherited a full-length stocked L461 from my late father, and they are very handy rifles. At some point in its life, a prior owner had it rechambered from 222 Remington to 223 Remington; which I don't really mind due to the availability and affordability of 223 Remington ammo here in the U.S. I wish you many years ago good hunting and shooting with that rifle.

I bought a great deal of the brass he had for sale, plus I already had many hundred rounds.

How much brass are you looking for?

Hi Green Chile, I just recently bought a 470 NE barrel for my Thompson Center TCR 83-87 single shot. Im just looking for some 470 NE to shoot at the range just to try it out. I dont need anything special but I just wanted to see what you have left. I dont necessarily even need a full box.
Thanks
Bill
