if someone was interested in hand checkering and doing a full grain fill and oil finish, you’d be surprised how good that wood actually is.

This rifle is very well suited for 95% of NA big game hunting. If I didn't have a No. 1 in 300 H&H I'd buy this in a second!

I can't believe it is still here. A particularly good deal with the scope.
