For the American audience…I just picked up this Diligent Defense Road Hunter rimfire can and I was very impressed with it. I put about 400 rounds through it today and it is noticeably quieter than my Q El Camino. It is not insanely quieter than my El Camino, but it is definitely noticeable. I really like diligent defense as a brand because they are clearly more geared towards the hunting w

What ammo are you using? In a bolt gun, CCI Quiet has been really impressive, practically “movie” quiet. Semi-autos tend to like the CCI Suppressor ammo for cycling of the action.

CCI Standard Velocity.

CCI Standard Velocity pretty much gives me a click and the sound of the bullet impact in my 16" Tikka T1x with a Dead Air Mask. If it weren't for the bullet impact I'd wonder if it misfired. No real experience with other .22 suppressors on that particular rifle, so others may be as quiet, but I'm happy with my Mask. Maybe it would be quieter with some of the lighter loads, but when the firing pin and bullet impact are louder than the shot I don't think it makes much difference. At some point I'll have to try my AB Little Bird on the T1x for comparison, but that suppressor is pretty much dedicated to a .22 AR SBR and I haven't felt the need to do so yet.

Others to check out would be the Silencerco Switchback, TBAC Takedown .22, and Rugged Oculus. All receive great reviews. My brother has an Oculus, but I haven't tried it on my guns. It sounds good on his, but not an apples to apples comparison.

Could you run a little video of the El Camino and this new can? I have the El Camino.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
