Wondering if anyone has any experience with this round? It's by Remington marketed under the old Peters name, brass case, blue tipped bullet, retro looking box (kinda cool). I found a decent deal on a couple hundred rounds and seems like it would make a pretty good round for Impala/ Whitetail size animals.

Yea that's kind of where I'm at as well, be nice do be able to use for hunting though. I have a pretty decent supply of utilitarian stuff.

I've never used it and have no experience but whitetail and impala are non-demanding applications for a 165g 308 bullet. Any new bullet marketed such animals should be at least adequate to the task. I wouldn't hesitate to use one.
