I own Heym 88B .375 ejector double rifle with markings “ JAGER SPORT LTD
CRANSTON, R.I. Serial # 82368.
I can’t find any reference to the importer and haven’t had much luck with inquiries to Heym in search of date of manufacture and importation to US. Anybody have any knowledge of this importer or possible date of manufacture ?

A few pics for reference
Merry Christmas

I'm curious, how did you determine the manufacture date? From serial number lookup?

I thought it might be a late 1980s or early 1990s based on the bolsters on the receiver sides.

Teutonic style early in production as referenced by Craig Boddington in his book "Safari Rifles."

I will own a Heym one day!

Once again, via a Google search! From that I learned of German date codes.

Cajun,

All (most?) German made guns will have a three digit date code, usually the first is a number, which coincides with the month, followed by two letters, indicating year (J is skipped):

A-0
B-1
C-2
D-3
E-4
F-5
G-6
H-7
I-8
K-9

Can you send me link to look up the codes ?
Is that the 5 K D marking ?
Thanks
JMV

Excellent info, thanks for the detail on German date codes.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
