Problem w/Ruger M-77 in 375RSM

I'm hoping that someone here has an idea. My Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan in 375 RSM will not accept more than 2 cartridges in the magazine. I can almost get 3 in, but the 3rd one won't quite fit.
I bought the rifle earlier this spring New in the Box. With 2 cartridges in the magazine it feeds and functions great.
To me it seems like the stock was inletted a touch too deep.
I would greatly appreciate any thoughts and suggestions.

What is a 375 RSM? Do you mean 375 Ruger?

Regarding your comment on inletting a little too deep: I checked my Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan with laminated wood stock and my magazine box has a little bit of play or movement up and down between the rails and bottom metal. I can fit 3 rounds in the mag. If your inletting is too deep, I suspect the magazine box is tight between the rails and bottom metal. Not sure if there is an easy fix for this.

Yes, it's the 375 Ruger caliber. Mine does have the laminated stock also.
I'll check the magazine box to see if there's any play.

I'd bet that if you sent off a email tonight you'll quite possibly have a response on Monday or Tuesday.

Ruger customer service has been very responsive when I call them. I would call there customer service in the morning and I bet within an hour you will have shipping instructions from them to send it in.

I’ve only dealt with Ruger customer service twice in my life… both times were positive experiences though…. I was well taken care of

I called them and Mark, you were right! I received a shipping label while I was on the phone with them!

I had to send one of the new Ruger MKIII pistols back 2 times because of a frame issue back years ago, not only did they pay for shipping both ways but they also sent me a check for the FFL fee when they shipped me a new pistol after the second return.

I received my rifle back from Ruger last week. The tech that worked on it called me while he was working on it!
Apparently, at some point, the magazine box was switched for a standard size, 30-06 probably he said.
New magazine box and re-torqued the action bolts, test fired and cleaned it.
No charge for any of it!!
Needless to say, I'm exceedingly happy with the service and the rifle. Ruger has gained a repeat customer!
