I was in Great Northern Guns gunshop in Anchorage today and noticed they have a pre-64 mod 70 in .375 H&H. It's definatly used but looks to be a "shooter". I think it was about 900.00 and had a peep site installed on the reciever. Figured it might make a good project gun for someone that's looking for one. It's not mine and I have no interest. Great Northern guns has a website and can be contacted directly.

Great gun - I have one that I purchased for $2500 - was never fired. Beautiful gun and smooth action. $900 seems like a steal.

$900 may be a good price depending on the condition of the rifle.

$2500 for a Winchester seems very expensive... but im no collector.

$900 for a pre-64 in .375 H&H? Unless it looked like it had been drug behind a pickup all the way to the store, that is a great price.

Picked up this one for 600$ a while back, it is my wifes rifle now.

Beauty rifle. Winchester M70 but in 458 Win Mag is my dream.

Happy New Year for you and your family.
Witold.

I have been considering to get a matching pair of pre 64 Winchester guns in 375 H&H and 275 H&H and I have even been flirting with the thought of having one in 300 H&H too :)

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
