I choose to pick on Q bec simply because they speak French and are aligned with French socialism.

But unfortunately there are a handful of cities in the U.S. that the Crocodile will eat first.

For those in Canada, can you tell us anything about what happened with the recent military exercise explosion?

Reports saying there was some sort of detonation during live fire training resulting in mass casualty event.
I have heard two stories, this base is less than an hour from where I grew up. One I heard from my parents was that they hit a pipeline during live exercises. Another story I heard was that they hit some sort of old munition. Now that wind yesterday, let me tell you, I’m not sure if I’ve seen a stronger one in out area. We were finishing up getting the yard ready for winter when it hit out of nowhere and I’m certain I have some downed trees in the back lot. Any fire yesterday would have moved quickly.

Either way this was a tragic incident and I hope those lucky enough to get a shot at recovering make a full and speedy one.

Also, I’m not sure why someone felt the need to make a YouTube video about this already, but that’s just me being a curmudgeon

It's a longer discussion but I think it would be tough to tie the PQ or CAQ into French socialism, except perhaps on the issue of intolerant secularism. They are a very unique culture over there.

Also, might as well add money to govt coffers on those license fees

Just a few more years and we will have destabilized western society.

So only people with Tubby approved names should express political opinion in our democracy?

Your racism is about as subtle as a brick.

New World Order. That's a professional wrestling thing right?

Can you post a list of approved names so we can tell what ethnic and cultural groups are allowed to participate in our democracy please? It will make life so much easier for us.

You better get comfortable in your bunker. Trouble is surely a comin'!

I realize that you're a multiculturalist and that you ascribe racism to Tubby's concerns. I think there is a possible alternative:

Quebec is a French-Culture Province of Canada. And the person leading for revolutionary changes in Quebec is a Youth of North African extraction. Whereas Quebec's social fabric is founded on a French-Catholic identity, you have a foreign national leading a call to mayhem, and his name literally means:

  • Abdelmajid (عبد المجيد): “Servant of the Most Glorious,” referring to Allah. Al-Majid is one of the traditional 99 names of God in Islam.
  • El-Mouhib (المحب): “The loving one,” “the affectionate one,” or “the one who loves.”

Some sobering numbers. The video uses an AI generated speaker. But the numbers may help some of you retirees. Especially lower income retirees.

Most of us are loaning money to our banks and the federal government. From our savings accounts. And yes it’s designed that way.

Ummm. I am not sure how well you follow Quebec. But your comment doesn't seem to grasp their situation.

The province while it has a Catholic heritage is overwhelmingly secular. In fact it has the most restrictive secular anti-religious laws in our country (which many of us are quite opposed to).

The person in question is the current president of a student federation which has been concerned about the costs of education getting high, over a number of years. It is not a new issue, a new organization, or "revolutionary changes" unless you think students being in favour of lower education costs is revolutionary. This has been in a live issue in Quebec for about 25 years.

Since you don't seem to understand the history of the issue here is the timeline:

And honestly I don't know where this chap was born. Do you? But there is nothing remotely Islamic or foreign about Quebec students protesting, it has a long domestic tradition. You may agree with them or not, but trying to paint them as some sort of foreign force is ignorant in the classic sense.

Not at all. The "growth" is in services provided by emergency medical personnel, law enforcement, and funeral homes.
