I re-registered at a local courthouse when I was in Montana hunting a couple of years ago and then voted in person. They send mail-in ballots but by the time they get here via international postal service there is no time to mail them back. I will drive there again to vote in person. Usually 21 to 24 hrs on the road.

Thankfully Oklahoma is a pretty solid state..

I’m fearful that we haven’t fallen far enough yet for that. My hope is for Alberta to vote option two, and Quebec to also get a mandate to separate. I believe it’s the only way to break the Liberal mindset here.

The problem in France mainly comes from people who are "french" but only on their ID cards. They are born in the country so they are french according to our stupid and archaic laws but they are definitely not french by their behaviours and mindset.
When you see videos, you can identify them easily. Ethnic statistics are forbidden but we know all people from africa or middle east are the main problem. Not all for sure, but they are well over-represented in justice.
And the other big problem in the country is the far left with Jean-Luc Mélanchon who pushs them to destroy everything. He knows he doesn't have a lot of chance to win the next election in 2027 so he wants the chaos to take over the country by another way. Marine Le Pen from the far right has very good chance to win this election but I don't know if she can really do something ? As long as we will be a part of the europe, we will be tied. In 2005, we voted against europe but the president Sarkosy who was elected in 2007 decided to go against our choice in 2008. Now politics don't want to make new referundums because they know replys won't satisfy them.
A majority of people in France want to leave the Europe and they also want to get out the guillotine to kill pedophiles and terrorists, but politics don't want such democracy. And now, they are crying the far-right is so high in polls but they did everything for it.

I see today Trump is promising Kentucky $100M infrastructure investment IF the state votes Republican. Like he promised everyone $5K check in the mail AFTER the election. Of course the inference being GOP needs to win enough seats to make the checks good. He's resorting to buying votes now. Getting desperate. Personally, I find it insulting that he thinks I'm low enough to be bought off. This reminds me of the old days when party bosses would buy out the bars near polling station on election day and hand out free beer to voters.

I don't think it's terribly unusual to buy votes BEFORE the election (my veterans disability cheques always magically increase, sometimes substantially, just before elections) but I've never heard of Democrats promising to write a cheque to everyone AFTER the election or holding out infrastructure rewards for voter loyalty.

Conservatives are quite viable in Canada. Four provinces, including Ontario and Alberta are governed by conservatives.

Before the last federal election the national conservatives had a huge lead, but the American President decided to have a run at Canada and his poor image and the fear of Canadians that the Conservatives were close to Trump cost them the election.

Once Trump is gone, if the Republicans return to some form of normality, the Conservatives will have a good shot of winning at the federal level again.

I also have no idea why you think Canadian immigration is "unchecked." Trump said some weird stuff about that but he was, as he often is, factually wrong about that. I hope you are not still buying what that guy is selling

It's not clear yet. The reporting seems to be some munitions in a live fire exercise struck some sort of gas infrastructure like a gas line or similar which started a serious fire that spread rapidly due to high winds.
