All I have heard is that "Trump CLAIMS" that Meloni begged him for a photo, from a journalist for Italy's La7 t.v station. Possible misinterpretation by a journalist who's english vocabulary may not be so good?
As of yet, I have seen ZERO audio or video proof of this statement by Trump, or anyone else, to said reporter.
Until such time that someone can show it to me, I think it's nothing but media fabricated bullshit that everyone is running with and foaming out of their media orifices.

He hasn't denied it and he won't. 1) Because the interview was obviously recorded and 2) he doesn't care. Doesn't bother him a bit if he insults other foreign heads of state. He does it constantly. So what? That's Trump and he's proud of it. Being a self-pontificating flaming asshole is his schtick. Always has been and you love him for it. Not surprising. So don't pin this on a news network. Trump hangs giant posters of himself on government buildings, puts his face on 2026 passports, wants to put his face on US currency, slaps his name on the Kennedy Centre, etc, etc, etc. Why would you not believe he'd do this? Well, Iran did sink ONE tanker in March of this year (3 months ago) it was in Iranian waters, so if I was a captain and I had insurance and approval to go, I'd go. Yes. I suspect if Iran messes with any additional tankers that Kharg Island would be a very dangerous place to be working.

The reason we have not touched any oil infrastructure including the Kharg island is the repercussions. We go scorched Earth, then Iranians would as well and they can easily do the same to Saudi, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar etc. oil infrastructure. Latest intelligence reports state that 70% of missile and drone capability is still intact.

There are not enough Patriot missiles and batteries to stop them all. Probably why Trumps talks about wiping everything out and then backs out.

Please point me at the 'latest intelligence reports that state 70%' I see 10-50% estimates with CentCom estimating 10%. I'll be happy to read the reports you claim in your post.

My guess is this short 'stoppage' is being taken advantage of by all their neighbors to gather defenses (and possibly offenses too).

I have a moral issue with illegal immigration, so I agree with the Feds enforcing those valid Federal laws too.

No, I'm comparing 2 legal federal actions. So many on the left only want certain laws enforced, which in my book is symbolic of a tyranical government. If you don't want some particular Federal law enforced, then work within the confines of the process to change it, don't run around in the street with masks on decrying the oppression of facsism etc.

I'm consistent, enforce the law.

I personally know of no one thats want illegal immigrants that are violent criminals. In our country. If he was to go after those illegals he would have a win. Instead he goes after all illegals even those trying to support this country. Instead he gives the ICE agents immunity and started sending even peaceful immigrants on expedition flights. Trump is his own worse enemy and I believe he is smart enough to know when he is going to cause himself pain.

One last thing if I thought i could give my family a better life by migrating to the USA I would do everything in my power to make it happen. When I got here I would do everything in ability to blend in and become a citizen and be productive. My grandfather did this in 1936 when he migrated from Hungary.

Removing the worst is what he/they tried to do, but when a detention request is made by ICE and not honored by the local government, there is little else that can be done but to round up whoever is caught in the net that is the result.

The problem is that once you set a precedence it is awful hard to change it. If Trump had approached it differently up front such as supporting local communities and due process instead of sending a large quantity of agents into an area. Sometimes it's better to start small and make progress than it is to use a sledge hammer and create polarization.

You and I can disagree at who was at fault. I believe that local government not honoring detainers and radicals organizing protests while the local government looked the other way (and actually supported the uprisings) was the determining factor of how we arrived here. You can believe that it was Trumps fault, at least you are consistent.

From my understanding there isn't the production capability to be able to resupply these countries with required missiles etc.....so not sure how they can gather their defenses.....

My dad found me my first job at 12, bucking hay out of the field and into the loft at a farm down the road. Been working ever since. Kids today are forbade from getting most of the jobs I had from 12-18. Construction companies can't hire them until 18, unless they are the child of an owner. The engineering firm I worked for can no longer hire under 18. I was a janitor at my high school for 2 years; they can't hire students anymore. I was running a jackhammer, packing dynamite, and blowing shit up at 17; you can only do that at 17 today if you join the military (and maybe not even there until 18, lol). Believe cemeteries are requiring 18+ to dig graves these days as well.
Point is, we mollycoddle today's youth. Society wants them to be "safe", so they don't allow them to actually do anything that someone might deem "risky". Some truly would like to see them all bubble wrapped. I, on the other hand, do want kids allowed to be kicked into the workforce at 12-13. Doesn't preclude them continuing an education; the two are not mutually exclusive. Getting a job, experiencing the real world a little, can actually help a teen see why an education is useful and where and how the courses in school are actually used in the real world. Let them work, it's actually good for them.
Btw, one job I have not had is digging coal or hiring others to. I did burn a lot of coal during a short stint working for a blacksmith one summer as a teen....

Thanks for the articles. The way I read it, they have access to much of their stockpiles ('accessible') but are not all currently usable/available for battle. Some are completely unaccessible. My guess is they have 10% usable/fieldable and 70% of stockpiles are not obliterated, but are not easily usable/fieldable. I have a degree in applied mathematics, but I still feel that statistics are the worse type of lies.

Oh no, Trump is responsible for all his bloviating and uncontrollable mouth. I hate it. I agree with his strong stance against illegal immigration, strong 'guidance' of our weak republican 'team' ... I wish he'd keep his mouth shut 90% of the time. But with all the good in life, we get the bad.

Similar story here…

I threw newspapers at 12…worked on a roofing crew a couple of summers from 15-17 mostly just hauling heavy stuff from the truck, up the ladder to the roof… flipped burgers at 16…

I’ve been consistently working since the age of 12… and enjoyed doing it…

It gave me independence (bought my own first BMX bike from that paper route pay), taught me responsibility, and provided a sense of purpose…

I think you have to manage child labor closely to prevent abuse… but… I also think we deprive kids some great life experience and great learning opportunities by not having them work until they’re 18..

All of my kids got jobs as soon as they were legally able to drive and support their own work requirements (16)… I think they are much better for it…
