Using Shemagh were quite common by us swedes when deployed in Afghanistan, if memory serves they were used by a lot of other nations forces there aswell. More for the function in the climate then anything else though.

It depends on whether or not you're in Romania.

Side bar. Has anyone else questioned the legitimacy of the Ceaușescus husband and wife execution. Her eyes are forced closed. Her forehead muscles are wrinkling her forehead. Her and his mouth are forcefully pursed closed. Heads not slumped forward enough. Not enough weight hanging on the shoulders and arms. It looks staged.

According to the reports at the time, things became so rushed, the cameramen didn't even have time to set up before the Guards started shooting. Everyone wanted them dead NOW, before any rescue attempt by Ceasescu loyalists could take place.

I wore one daily when doing “low profile” work in Iraq… and wore one occasionally in Afghanistan…

There is an “art” to wearing a shemagh… different tribes use different colors and there are subtle differences in how they are tied/worn among different people.,,

If you’re attempting to blend in, you can actually make yourself much more noticeable if you don’t know what you’re doing or what local customs are…

If you’re simply trying to keep the dust and grime out of your lungs, they’re excellent any way they are worn…

FWIW at the time I was living in Kabul the parts per million of fecal matter in the air in parts of Afghanistan were the highest in the world.., you were literally breathing in shit…

Shemagh were pretty handy at keeping at least a little shit out of your lungs (or at least made you feel like you were lol)..,

Are you ignorant of the Abraham Accords?

Or just stupid?
Why does it have to be so binary? Could not both be true?

Even YouTube has wised up(just a little) to the AI garbage that has become so prolific on social media these days.
They have programmed algorithms to sniff out AI generated videos, and AI spam videos, across the YouTube platform. Deleting them, along with some channels , and demonitizing others. Yes, it has gotten bad, and good riddance to all of that nonsense.

YouTube has also censored anything gun, hunting or politically related.

Several shows have abandoned YouTube altogether and prohibited their videos from being uploaded there because they were de-monitized, or banned. Andy Buchanan moved his entire series of This is Africa videos to Rumble for this exact reason.

I find it ironic, how any military man that has been in the middle east and has seen first hand the atrocities of the so called "religion of peace", could be offended by the word rag head.

But.....whatever.
Interesting enough our political beliefs are fairly close. You lost me though when you went down the path of being a troll.
You probably find it ironic because you were never a military man and you've never been to the Middle East and you've never seen first hand the atrocities of the so called "religion of peace". You also make a wrong assumption that a military man is offended by the word rag head. Well, I was a military man and that word doesn't offend me. I've probably used it before. What you were called out on was your general use of the word to describe a large subset of people, some of whom are good, and some of whom are bad. In your ignorance of a region and its people you go ahead and denigrate them all. Some people took umbrage to that. Maybe because they have met some really good people who you try to generalize as a terrorist and lump all of them in as rag heads.
I'm no defender of Islam and I'm certainly no defender of the Middle East but I sometimes feel the need to speak up when someone, who has quite similar political opinions to mine, starts showing their ignorance by talking smack.
It might help if you discussed things you had knowledge of and didn't throw out random insults about a group of people you only know about because of the bad ones in their group that make the news with their actions.
It also might help if you didn't go talking smack to someone who calls you out on your ignorance. Someone who has first hand knowledge of an area you don't.
Also, If you had a little respect for "Our" military you wouldn't ask a guy how many people he has killed. If you've never served, you certainly don't deserve an answer to that.

Let's see ... sending a couple of American Jewish real estate developers to negotiate with an Islamic radical who has military experience and a PhD from Kent University UK in something related to diplomacy. Yeah, I didn't think that would work. This whole affair reminds me of a chicken running around with its head cut off.

He's just jealous that two guys with Doctor of Jurisprudence degrees and not Ph.D. History degrees are making the deals.

My denigrating comment was towards the Iranians and nobody else. It was others that took offense to that and turned into a generalization.
I never asked the guy how many he has killed. That's none of my business.
I asked him if he ever killed someone with a rag on the head. If so, he really has no right to try and admonish someone for using the term raghead. Makes no sense whatsoever.
I find it extremely hypocritical that people on this thread call Trump, various politicians, world leaders, myself, and more insulting names then rag head. I use the word and a bunch of people lose their shit.
I don't ever want to disrespect the military, or those who serve in it, but I'm not going to bend over and kiss anyone's ass either.
Everyone else has their opinion, I have mine. I don't apologize for what I believe in, or who I detest. That's my right, and it's not going to change.

Fox reporting 4 shots fired subject down, subject in custody, shooter fired on a SS agent, was shot? President removed from area, President wants to return to room and continue the festivities…… steel
Makes a person wonder who set that up ?
I still can't fathom why Trump would attend a dinner with that nest of Vipers.

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
