Actually his role as Defender of the Faith is specifically to Anglicanism. It would not include any of the religions predominant in the American evangelical movements, or Catholics or Lutherans...

And there are plenty of muslims, millions and millions of them who are perfectly fine people and citizens.

Great documentary by Matt Walsch. He mentioned in part, poor non slaves being used for dangerous work in the American south. When my family was moved out by Sherman's march to the sea, they passed through Louisiana en route to Texas. One day a foreman was heard to say--"don't send N###gers out in the swamp to work amongst them alligators, they cost money. Send those Irishmen---they don't cost nuthin'"
