Before anyone declares that going to war for oil, Petrodollars and the reserve currency is a bad thing.

The alternative is far worse.

Weakening and replacing the dollar more than likely means a new global superpower that doesn’t have other nations and their people’s best interests in mind. (China)

The world economy would be depressed during the transition. The US economy would most likely collapse. Think Zimbabwe, Argentina, Venezuela currency corrections.

China has a 50 year plan to replace the dollar and it’s ahead of schedule. They buy every bit of physical gold and other metals to prepare for a new Reserve Currency.

So before we declare the U.S. as war mongers. Think of it as keeping the larger peace and economic stability.

Agreed if the dollar is replace we do what Britain did when we replaced them and basically collapse for multiple decades. Also the world economy would probably be quite a bit worse then depressed since most of their pension and wealth funds are in us equities. I remember when the world tanked back in 08-09 because of our market dropping… imagine if we just outright collapsed. Western Europe would be gone they create less then we do and are tied to our success never mind the fact that most of them have no legit military so who’s gonna fund nato lol

What if the Navy sailed one of those warships equipped with the sophisticated anti missile defense system they the strait as a decoy to get the Iranians to fire at it .
They could then pinpoint the missile locations and pound it with bunker busters.

It’s the cost of are missiles vs there’s. Unfortunately we need China for certain parts to keep building them and they are not exactly open to helping us with that right now. Raytheon in 2023 said we were giving Ukraine to much stuff and it would take years to rebuild are supply. General dynamics and Lockheed and supposedly other defense contractors have warned of the same thing. I’m glad we are figuring out how foolish previous administrations have been to have everything from antibiotics to missile parts being made outside America let alone by China is not intelligent.

Bunker busters are rare and crazy expensive and take along time to make. They are trying to drag us into a war of attrition. It’s how Afghanistan bankrupted the ussr and arguably us. What Iran is using now is bs drones and some missiles unfortunately it’s effective. They know they only have to wait till the midterms to tie president trumps hands or at least Russia and China know that. Since it appears China and possibly Russia are using satellites and targeting ships to let the Iranians know where are assets are. Otherwise they would not of been able to shoot those planes down.
