Pedestal building thread

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.
There was a thread not so long ago where a member had built his own pedestals using pallets/reclaimed/distressed looking wood and said he could supply the build plans to interested members.
I have searched and searched and looked through the forums but I can't find the thread, does anyone remember the thread and if so can you point me in the right direction please?

Here is a pedistal base I made. I stained it and used a flat, clear, paint-on top coat. Ones this size were over $400 to buy. After I had paid for the balance on the mount, I decided to make my own. Reclaimed wood would be nice...just make sure you have a good frame so it does not collapse.
