It's taken nearly a year but we are almost there - a matching pair of Sauer 101s in 7x64 and .243 with upgraded light wood, adjustable combs, threaded for silencers, silvers like pads, engraved pistol caps (European boar & roe buck) & custom triggers. Sauer also ran consecutive serial numbers for me!

They are being topped with 2 same Leupold VX 5HD scopes in 3-15 x 44 on quick release mounts & finished with Els RSA canvas & leather slings.

My wife has been using a CZ .30-06 with a Frankonia brand scope for some 20 years, which she shoots well, but it was & is time for an upgrade! In 7x64 & .243 she can cover pretty much everything in Europe plus a load of plains game in Africa too !

First big outing will probably be driven springbok in the Karoo in July.

Life is good !

Absolutely beautiful rifles.
I'm now a big fan of Sauer rifles and I love my Sauer S100 in .300WM.
Fantastic rifles, fantastic chamberings... enjoy!

Very nice rifles, congrats. Not a fan of the red recoil pads, but then I also prefer flannel to lingerie. Knock 'em down in the Karoo.
