on a lighter note...

But can I pick anyone I want? Decisions, decisions.
Even if they were drawn at random you would have to be happy

Can’t really recommend the lighthouse cookies for Christmas with the family.

1924: Englishman Raymond Mays loses a wheel from his Type 13 Bugatti at the Caerphilly Hill Climb in Cardiff, Wales.

This happened to @spike.t once lol

Mmm...funnily..or not so funnily....similar...but going in to gerards bend/corner at mallory Park circuit in England near Leicester, which is basically a 180 degree bend that when you pumped your balls up you eventually took flat in top gear in some cars..including the single seater formulae I was in....the back left shock snapped about quarter way in.....somehow I managed to keep sort of control and came to a halt against the armco barriers..instead of flipping over them....Adrian reynard was following me and said he couldn't see a thing as he got a full hailstorm of sparks from the broken shocker...but said to me was impressed you managed to not have a big one....so way more protection than back in Raymond mays days...including helmets and clothing...but the cars then were still .....very foldable compared to later on....but nobody thought about it....same circuit was watching Stert of a race...we were next...and 2 cars tangled wheels and one went bout 20 feet in air....landed upside down on grass at side of tarmac...roll hoop which in those days didn't have forward bracing bars dug in....broke his neck....they managed to get him to hospital but was paralysed....ended up marrying his nurse who looked after him....and later came back occasionally to visit when races were on... (y) :D Beers:

Hi PaulB. Would you be interested in another WJ Jeffery .450/.400 NE 3". It's an extractor model and in superb condition, cased as well. Made in 1908. The rifle is here in Texas.
