Just received text from local government- flooding
We are on high ground but by the time the ex-cyclone (hurricane) now a tropical low = rain depression finishes on Wednesday (1week of bucketing down heavy rain), there will be major flooding.
I drove out this morning to get coffee and paper - 4wd with water up to the roof in an oval.
What the hell were people thinking driving flood waters!!
Ps my shoulder is still sore from the recoil o my 300 and 338.
Spoke w Ridge Walker - showed me a bag I guess you’d call it for absorbing recoil.

What's an oval?.....

Think you get rain? Try over a meter of rain in three (note 3) days.
Still pouring.
Leaving my rifles in safe to minimize humidity etc getting to them.

Stop being a drama queen.....and forget the rifles in the safe unless its totally sealed airtight with moisture absorbing shit in it......just saying.....

What's an oval?.....

The cricket stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad was referred to as “The Oval.” Or maybe it’s a roundabout that is a little bit out of round.

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
